The Competition welcomes designers and artists from different backgrounds in the interior design capacity to join, whether individually or in a group of three. To become eligible to compete for the Young Design Talent Award, all team members must be below 35 years old (as of 31 December 2023).

There are five criteria for judging Entries:

• 35% Creativity, innovativeness and originality 
• 25% Functionality 
• 15% Aesthetics
• 15% Use of sustainable materials and technologies
• 10% Theme adherence
